The Sule Lamido University Clinical Data Repository (SLU-CDR) is dedicated to advancing medical research, public health innovation, and evidence-based healthcare through secure, open-access clinical data sharing. Community Guidelines

To maintain a professional, inclusive, and productive research environment, all users of SLU-CDR must adhere to the following principles:

  • 1. Authentic Identity & Professionalism:
    Use real names, verified institutional affiliations, and accurate academic/professional credentials.
    Misrepresentation (false qualifications, fabricated research history, or misleading affiliations) is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.

  • 2. Respectful & Ethical Collaboration:
    Engage in constructive, evidence-based discussions—personal attacks, discrimination, or inflammatory remarks will not be tolerated.
    Be mindful of cultural, linguistic, and professional differences; seek clarity when needed.
    If a disagreement arises, respond with academic rigor, not hostility.

  • 3. Responsible Data Use & Integrity:
    Submit only ethically approved, de-identified clinical data in compliance with Nigerian data protection laws and institutional review board (IRB) guidelines.
    Properly cite data sources and acknowledge contributors when using shared datasets.
    Do not manipulate, misrepresent, or misuse clinical data—violations will lead to permanent ban and reporting to relevant authorities.

  • 4. Zero Tolerance for Misconduct:
    Harassment, plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical behavior will result in:
    • Immediate account deactivation.
    • Removal of all submitted content.
    • Possible disciplinary action by Sule Lamido University.
